I think the point is that there wasn't a good or bad in terms of the characters presented, the good and bad was the system that trapped both people in their parallel lives. The "bad" clones were forced into sentience/creation to keep the people on top in place/order. The good people also had no idea about the bad clones so as a viewer you don't blame them, but to the bad clone that insight is nonexistent. All they know is their suffering and their rage is in that way very easy to understand. I feel like framing it like that makes the deeper meaning easier to understand too. (:
