Big Decision!!! Need your help

Just found you on YouTube reacting to LOTR. Then I saw you might watch Buffy. So here I am hopefully to see y’all watch my favorite TV series of all time. I am over 60 years old and have watched tons of tv and there is nothing that compares to this show.

I'd say taste is subjective...I get why people love TVD (I like Season 1) but that show took so much from Buffy and it didn't do it better in my opinion....a lot of lazy writing at times but the props were pretty cool in that show. It's also another long running show....

Buffy. I wasn't so sad anymore when I saw someone had requested Buffy. But then I got sad again when I saw you were laughing to similar jokes my request would have had 😅😄

They are both amazing and you should check out both, but for now - a) you already started on buffy, and b) there are no buffy reactions out there, whereas several groups have done firefly. So definitely watch firefly at a later point but I'd start with buffy.

Dude, could you make that any harder!! Choosing between them is really really hard so I will try to be objective. I prefer Buffy but Firefly is shorter allowing for possibility of Buffy afterwards. I don't know. I still say Buffy but I would be thrilled with either.

Buffy all the way! I loved Firefly as well, it's very Stargate-ish so it definitely deserved more seasons. But Buffy is just awesome! First season is a bit weak, only because of budget, but it really picks up and goes deep. Hey it ran for 7 seasons with a spin-off and they have been talking about a reboot, so it's gotta be a must watch lol

You'd get through Firefly quicker 😛 That's my bias though, I've never seen Buffy so it would be another thing you guys react to that I wouldn't really be interested in.. 😔

I haven't seen Firefly so I'm biased but for me personally I would definitely give Buffy a chance even if it's just up to Season 2 because I do understand doing the full show is a huge commitment. The storytelling in Season 2 is very well done and I know you guys love a good story as much as I do.....Also knowing that you like horror and humour I do think Buffy is a good fit.

Firefly is an amazing show. Really fun and well written. I would say that if you want a shorter show, it's only 14 episodes versus however many seasons of Buffy.

This might sound bias but I haven’t seen firefly but Buffy the vampire slayer is pretty cool. I think you have mentioned is pretty dated but it gives that late 90’s and early 2000’s gothic grunge to it.

Tbh, neither for next shows. I know these are classics…but there are a crap ton better shows with higher ratings that you guys could go through before either of these would come up. Might need to start thinking about that $35 tier haha 😛
