$14,300 in mutual aid! Live show! RIP merch?

Hope you're all hanging in there. It's been a while! 

Our Fall 2021 mutual aid program opened and closed in a quick 48-hour sprint! In that time, we were able to send $14,300 in mutual aid payments to trans people of color in the US, the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and more. (Thanks to everyone who has donated to our ongoing mutual aid fund to help make this happen!) 

Speaking of sending money to people on the internet... we'll be opening up our fall grant program around October 1, so keep an eye out for that. Unlike our mutual aid program, the grants are almost entirely funded by THIS VERY PATREON. In other words, you are making it possible for us to support trans artist and activists of color! That's very cool and rad; thank you so deeply.

We did a live show!!!!!!!!!!! It was, in my humble opinion, very fun and good. We're planning to release the episode in a month or so, if all goes to plan.

With the live show in the rearview mirror, Jules & I are full steam ahead on season 8! We've got the majority of the season booked already and I'm excited to start chatting with our (very cool / smart / fun / hot / good) guests.

Meanwhile, in worse news... our merch store is still broken, and I'm losing faith that it will ever be fixed. Which is a huge bummer, because that shop raises thousands of dollars for trans artists and trans orgs, and also because we have so many good Spooky Season designs!! I'm still trying to think of a quick fix so that everyone can get their No Cis Vampire shirts and Trans Ghouls Unite fanny packs, but I'm not sure what that would look like without a lot of extra (unpaid) work on our end. 

Over the next few weeks and months, I'll be reassessing what merch will look like (if anything) going forward. Feel free to reach out if you have ideas/opinions/etc.

Finally, a Patreon update: I've sent out about 60% of our Patreon reward backlog for our $5-$40/month supporters, and will hopefully be mailing another batch on Monday. If you're still waiting on rewards, thank you for your patience! (And if you've been waiting for longer than three months, let me know, because you should have received your stickers and such by now.)
