Hey everyone,
Hope you're all hanging in there. I just spent two hours looking for my wallet and did not find my wallet but I did find a headache, so this newsletter is gonna be real quick (maybe).
Updates on the Gender Reveal front:
1. I haven't added new May merch yet, but I'm gonna try to do that by tomorrow, so keep an eye out! We've got a bunch of new designs on the way... to that end, here's a sneak peek of our newest design by friend of the show Beth Easton:

Photo ID: Rainbow bubble letters say "I don't know any straight people" in all caps.
2. As part of last month's merch sales, we raised $200 for inTRANSitive, which supports the fight for trans rights in Arkansas, by selling Beth's "Trans Kids are Wonderful" design. Thanks to everyone who nabbed a shirt or two.
3. We closed our spring 2021 grant yesterday, after receiving 176 applications(!). I'm particularly excited that Casper and A.B.O. Comix shared the grant application with some incarcerated trans folks, who were then able to apply via snail mail.
If any of y'all have other thoughts on how we can make the grant more accessible to people who need it most, please feel free to reach out anytime. Grant winners will be announced by July 1.
4. I'm booking season 7 now!!!! Trying to launch by June, but we'll see how it goes... I can't even keep track of my personal possessions lol so how am I supposed to make a podcast.
5. These flowers look trans.

Photo ID: A sprig of pink, blue and purple forget-me-nots next to a fern.
6. Friends of the show Rose Eveleth and Matt Lubchansky (and a crew of other talented folks) put out a new Flash Forward book, which is partly comics and partly essays. The book is out now and includes yours truly saying a few words about the gender binary! And Gender Reveal is mentioned! So, uh, that's cool and weird!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo ID: a hand holding up "Flash Forward: An Illustrated Guide to Possible (and Not So Possible) Tomorrows by Rose Eveleth, hosted of the acclimated podcast Flash Forward" in front of the back entrance of Powell's City of Books. The neon Powell's sign is visible in the background, as is a pillar that has been carved to look like a stack of books.
7. I'm almost caught up on $5 patreon rewards. $10+ folks, I'm waiting on some new stickers and buttons that I ordered y'all that I'm very excited about. They should be here soon, hopefully!
8. Now I feel like we should get to 10 but I don't have anything to say other than "have u seen my wallet around by chance"
9. Thank you for supporting the show, and for supporting me, and for reading this silly newsletter. I love you.
10. Here's your weekly Rhubarb.

(Photo stolen from my roommate, who doesn't get this newsletter so she'll never know!)
