Hey friends,

Hope you’re all hanging in there. Not sure what to tell you this week. I haven’t eaten a vegetable yet today, so I just checked the fridge, and the closest thing I could find was a single slice of pizza topped with red pepper and artichoke hearts. So now I’m eating that. Pizza’s a vegetable, I’ve heard.

One of our pipes has leaked since what feels like the dawn of time, every time my roommate takes a bath. There’s a huge hole in our kitchen ceiling that was cut in like 2019 so that a plumber could take a look, but the plumber didn’t actually fix it so now we have big weird hole in the ceiling and increasingly warped floorboards below and a steady drip drip drip drip at bath time. I bought a small rug to put under the leak and I don’t know what I thought it would do but it’s doing it.

OK, I’m going to listen to MY WOMAN in honor of Angel Olsen being gay even though she was obviously always gay because she wrote an album called MY WOMAN like five or six years ago, and I’m going to try to write something even remotely relevant for you.

There is one week left to apply for our spring grant program! We’re distributing at least ten $500 grants (possibly more, tbd) and we have ~100 applicants right now, so anyone who applies actually has a pretty good shot at funding. We’re looking for trans folks of color doing rad activism, organizing, art, or community support. If that describes someone you know, please help us spread the word! Important personal life update: I just realized that I had one can of soup so now I’m eating soup. Vegetables! Also, I finished MY WOMAN and am now listening to this excellent nonbinary artist I just learned about 10 minutes ago.
