gay marriage, heterophobia, Sabrina the Teenage Witch?

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all hanging in there. Last week, I wrote about how everything was Incredibly Bad. Since then, I've been trying to take my wins where I can get them — spending as much time as possible in the sun, several feet away from people I love, and minimal time on the Hell Sites other than to look for updates on the health of Trump and his buds.

As a result, I am doing much better overall, although that "better" was certainly tested by the awful SCOTUS news this morning. Apparently, a couple of Supreme Court justices are chomping at the bit to overturn marriage equality. As I said on Twitter, I admit that I didn't think they would go after gay marriage, both because it's overwhelmingly popular with the public (roughly 2/3rds of Americans support it, including nearly half of Republicans) and because the institution encourages conformity and heteronormativity (don't @ me). But I was wrong! Here's Chase Strangio's thread on what's going on, with my favorite part clipped out below.

Anyway, I processed this news by shitposting on twitter because I didn't know... what else ... to do?

I bring this up because the thread gave me an excuse to show off the current pin ensemble on my denim jacket, which I haven't looked at for several months because Summer, and that I am now newly thrilled about and would like to share with you.

Turns out, I have thought about disenfranchising straight people. Oops. Love to do heterophobia! 🤠

I have this dream where I'll send postcards back to people who write, but that would involve me getting on top of all of my other work and LOL. But maybe! One day!
