Addison Rose Vincent! The future of Gender Reveal!

Hey friends,

Hope you're all hanging in there. I thought I sent this newsletter last week and I thought I would have time to make an episode for today and neither of these are true! 

It's really incredible how literally every day I think, "Today is the day that I start shifting away from protest coverage and get my shit together for Gender Reveal" and every day it's suddenly 7pm and all I've done is take a shower and ignored my email and tweeted about police brutality and compartmentalized my emotions! You hate to see it. 

Anyway, in the interest of transparency, here's what you can expect from the Gender Reveal feed in the near future:

• Final episode of Gender Reveal season 5 (finally! one day!) 
• Short bonus episode featuring an excerpt of Transcripts
• Maybe a second bonus episode about what the heck I'm up to
• [break]
• Gender Reveal season 6, which hopefully will be released weekly on a consistent basis, but also it's 2020 so maybe there will be a fourth all-consuming crisis.

And here's what I'll be working on during the official season break:

• Collecting materials needed for patreon rewards (it's hard in a pandemic)
• Sending patreon rewards
• Getting the merch shop updated with new designs
• Finally, finally getting all the transcripts up on the site (sorry!) 
• Booking guests for season 6
• Recording interviews for season 6 (also harder in a pandemic)
• Sending newsletters
• Other things I'm forgetting right now?

Addison is an incredible nonbinary educator and advocate, so I feel bad being like, "in this episode, we talk about COLLEGE and SORORITIES and DISNEYLAND and BEARDS!" but guess what? On this episode, we talk about college and sororities and Disneyland and beards, and it's very interesting imo! (We also talk about Addison's activism, of course.) Addison was one of the first nonbinary folks I knew, so it was a treat to get to speak with them on the podcast so many years later. 

How was last week for you? I did some secret trans stuff and also went to a lake at some point. That might have actually been two weeks ago. In the words of Zee Griffler, time is cancelled in 2020. (Does 2020 exist if time is cancelled? No idea.) 

Okay it's 3:30pm and I haven't eaten yet so maybe I should do... that. Actually, I should have done that before I tried to write coherent sentences, but you win some & ya lose some, you know?
