Friends! I hope you're all safe and healthy and hanging in there.

First and foremost, I was devastated today to learn that Aimee Stephens has passed away. You may remember us talking about Aimee on the show; she was fired after telling her boss that she intended to wear a female uniform at her job. (Why do the uniforms have genders? Anyway.)

Aimee's case is currently in front of the Supreme Court, with a verdict due any day now. It's a huge sacrifice to be a public face in the battle for transgender rights, and I am so grateful to Aimee for fighting for us all. Thank you, Aimee, and rest in power.

In lighter news, I am stoked to announce that the podcast will be returning next Monday, May 18. I have all of the interviews lined up, so if they all actually happen (never guaranteed tbh), it should be relatively smooth sailing through the end of season 5. We'll seeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm currently working on editing an interview with Vico Ortiz, a bilingual, genderfluid actor who stars in the YouTube series These Thems. It's a queer show that features multiple trans characters of color (!), and it only takes an hour or two to watch the full series, so check it out before next week's episode if you're into it.

(Disclaimer: This show includes a lot of cis people ~ learning ~ about trans identities in sometimes cringey ways. If you don't have the energy to sit through that, I 100% get it.)

In other news, I had a really amazing day last Tuesday celebrating the birthday of one of my favorite humans, Taegan! You can hear Taegan (left) and their partner Tehya (right) giving sexy advice on episode 69 (nice) of this very podcast.

Not sure what else to tell y'all this week. We... got a hammock. Is that anything?!?!
