Live Gender Advice! Trans Podcasts Galore! Next Week’s Episode Poll!

Friends! This week on the podcasts, we share the second half of our November 2019 live show, featuring gender advice with BFF-of-the-show Zee Griffler. This episode is full of friendship and laughter and big “do-whatever-feels-good” energy and I hope you feel as nourished listening to it as I did making it.

This week’s episode also features a quartet of This Week in Gender topics, including a South Dakota update (it’s good news!) and an explanation of Scotland’s Gender Recognition Act reform bill. In other podcast news, I’m a guest on two other trans podcasts this week. You can listen to me giving advice with Danny Lavery (formerly Danny Ortberg) on Dear Prudence, as well as discussing the state of trans rights in American politics with Ashleigh, Michelle, and (Sylveon co-founder) Cassius Adair on What the Trans. 

Full disclosure: I am traveling right now and have not been able to listen to either of these episodes yet. I am nervous sharing them without having heard them, but am just trusting that I don’t come across as a total mess. Please let me know what you think. :)

Speaking of traveling! I’m in the Bay Area with my p good partner and we are eating some awful and amazing food. I miss Ruby but she hates traveling so she didn’t come with us. 

That last bit  was written by my partner while I went to the bathroom, but it's true, so I’m leaving it. (Pictured: some amazing food.)

Anyway! I’m on “””vacation””” and I thought I’d be able to get a whole episode out while I was traveling but it turns out that …. I don’t think I can? So I’m not sure what’s going to happen on Monday. Maybe I’ll pull it together! Maybe I’ll find a sub! Maybe it will just come out late next week! Maybe it will be a mini/bonus episode! What would y’all prefer? Let me know please :)

I think that’s it for now. Thank you so so so much for your endless patience and support. I really am doing my best all the time to make the trans media y’all deserve, even when I’m not getting as much done as I would ideally like to. Turns out that brains are hard and capitalism sucks? Anyway, I love you all so so so much and I hope you’re all hanging in there and finding joy where you can.
