New episode! NPR Morning Edition! Celebrity listeners!

Friends! I have two very exciting topics for the (very belated) newsletter today.

The first is that we put out a bonus episode this week! The episode consists of 10ish minutes of updates (that tbh you probably know already because you read this newsletter, but there's some new info in there as well), followed by an excellent episode of Queersplaining by Callie Wright.

Callie's gender identity has changed since we recorded their Gender Reveal episode a few months ago, and it was very rad to be able to share this episode of their show to get everyone up to speed. I am never going to start asking guests "how do you know you're trans/nonbinary" because that's for cis interviewers (lol), but I do love getting to learn about people's experiences, so it's very very cool of Callie to be willing to share their thoughts with us.

In other radio news, I was on NPR’s Morning Edition this morning, speaking with host David Greene about they/them pronouns for a full five minutes?!

I’m still in shock that they let me have such a huge platform for so long on this topic — and what’s more, that they agreed to my request to be introduced like I’m a person and not an alien, which is actually a huge deal to me. I’m so hyped about this interview and I’m hyped that the intro and outro included plugs for Gender Reveal! We’ve already gained new listeners from it! What a time to be gay and alive!

Oh gosh, in other podcast news, this happened today and I lost my mind a tiny bit.
