This weekend can be a rough one in the United States for many reasons, including but not limited to awkward family interactions; reminders of familial rejection; and/or the fact that everyone is celebrating Indigenous genocide for some reason. In other podcast news... remember how I was supposed to announce our fall 2019 grant winners yesterday? (Whoops.) As it happened, we received roughly 300 grant applications this round, which is 4x times what we were expecting. SO, I had to quickly develop a new judging process and enlist eight perfect trans folks to help dig through all of the applications. Everyone just finished deliberation this weekend, and I'll be announcing the winners as soon as possible — hopefully tomorrow, if all goes well. 

The good grant news is that we're going to be able to give nearly $2000 in grants, instead of the original $1500 that I planned! This includes one grant that's specifically for Indigenous folks, paid for by the fundraising I did on Indigenous People's Day. I'm so excited to tell you all about all six of our incredible grant winners. Stay tuned! 

I just realized that I never told you about our LIVE SHOW(!!!!!) so just know that it went very well, and that you'll see lots of photos someday when this trans baby doesn't need to go to bed. In the meantime, here's your weekly Rhubarb.
