Happy TDoV!

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility, everyone. Or is it? I love TDoV but I also love this video from trans elder Miss Major. And friend of the show Meredith Talusan wrote this important op-ed about how transgender visibility can become a paradox.

In honor of this especially trans day, I've dropped a bonus crossover episode into the feed. Nichole and Callie (of Vegan Warrior Princesses Attack fame) were kind enough to invite me onto their show to do what I do best: answer listener questions about gender. They were also kind enough to let me play that episode on my show, because I miss you and I'm arrogantly assuming that you miss me too. In other news, we still don't have official merch, but our friend at Stick to Resist is still selling some beautiful matte flag pins and pronouns pins—so visible!—as well as a number of extremely good stickers that you should 100% buy. And speaking of Extremely Trans Attire to purchase from our nonbinary pals, artist Beth Easton made this extremely good and very Aries season shirt that I'm hoping you'll buy! (They need 5 more orders to be able to print the shirts and I just really want one to wear really pointedly at any and all journalism events.)
