Why do we need donations?
Added 2017-12-27 05:49:05 +0000 UTCFair question. Between the logo, theme song, editing software, and recording equipment, I've already spent roughly $1000 to bring Gender Reveal to life. That money all came out-of-pocket because I believe in this show—but I'd also love to pay myself back one day.
In addition, I'd love to pay a queer audio professional to edit the show. To do that, we're going to have to raise hundreds of extra dollars per month, because I believe in paying people fair wages for their work.
And of course, that's not including any kind of merch, advertising, Patreon rewards, or ongoing costs like hosting fees.
