Aragorn would be twenty-seven when Legolas leaves to search for him at the end of this movie. This movie takes place sixty years earlier from the beginning of the first Lord of the Rings movies, and in Two Towers, Aragorn states to Eowyn that he is eighty-seven years old. So... Aragorn is now twenty-seven in this time period.

2021-06-05 04:16:03 +0000 UTCThere is a deleted Scene that they didnt included even in the Extended Version and it would have explained with only 15 to 20 Seconds entirely why Thranduil wants those Gems who are still in the Mountain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1589qbXUGo The Reason he is so desperate for them is, that they are Gems from his Dead Wife ( Legolas Mother) and he thinks they are the "only" Thing left of her ( while he forgot that she left him something far more precius than any Gem, namely Legolas)
