Haha not for sale though. It is precious to me :-)

What??? Dude how much?? I'll buy that rn lol

You reactions are just like when I saw it the first time. I love it! :) I'm so fortunate to actually own 1 out of 20 Witch King Helmets (REAL PROPS MADE FOR THE MOVIE) and I tell you.. It's Heavy and huge, but beautiful! They had a big actor carry the amour, and the design of the helmet was changed many times as well as his maze so they looked alike in design! :)

Yeah, ur right. I guess our point was that it wasn't offensive. It didn't come from a place of malintent on Eomor's part

I have to disagree about it not being that Eowyn is a woman. Sure, he's trying to protect his sister but being a woman definitely was part of it. That's just a part of the time period it was written as far as how women were viewed. It's not offensive because that was just how they thought. But honestly I believe if it had been another woman he would have felt the same.

The opening with Smeagol/Gollum's backstory was in the theatrical cut in the very beginning and not added in the extended cut .

The Palantirs (aka the "lost seeing stones"), were created in the distant past and allowed the users who possessed them to communicate with each other - not just verbally, but also with images that allowed the user to see great distances. Once Sauron possessed one of the stones, however, he could essentially "take it over" due to his incredible power. And while the stones couldn't be made to show false images, Sauron could use his strength to selectively show or hide certain images in order to dispirit his enemies into thinking that their situation was more dire than it really was. He could also basically take over the other viewer's mind, unless they were very strong-willed, to force them to reveal what they know. Although not addressed in the movies, this is also the reason that Denethor was so distraught and out of his mind, because there was another Palantir in Minas Tirith which he consulted frequently - thinking he was gaining insight into what Sauron was doing - not realizing that Sauron was showing him images specifically designed to imply there was no way he could be defeated no matter what they did, which pushed Denethor further and further into despair and hopelessness.

Lol!! U gonna join us on stream tonight??
