Death Note is one of my favorite anime of all time. It will never be replace. And, personally, I find the dub better than the sub, but the sub is still fantastic.

I would totally recommend My hero academia. It's an anime that takes place in a superhuman society where 80% of the population has powers called quirks. The main character is a boy who wants to be a hero. The great thing about this anime is that it has amazing action scenes, humor and the characters are interesting as well!

The shinigami's are Gods of Death. Hopefully, that doesn't ruin any story or plot. I forget when they introduce that.

Though I think I prefer the English Dub more it seems like the characters have more personality to me. But, overall it's still the same story.

Yeah the style, the story, and the characters are all super interesting and great.

And yes, I agree that the dub is just as good and probably better for reactions since there will be a lot of talking and spending time in lights head.

I feel like Death Note is kinda a fall from grace story, but it's his brilliance that makes the series amazing. Shinigami are Death Gods.

I’ve not seen sub; the show is very dialog heavy so there’s that. Polls seem to have them pretty much even. Perhaps rewatch episode 1 (off cam) with the dub and see which one you liked more? 🙂
