I would love to see a young Hagrid interact with Newt!! I hope this theory is right!!

Just became a member. Love your videos! Let me share a theory that has NO SPOILERS to the second movie: Newt Scamander is an individual who was an outcast at Hogwarts in his school days, someone who was not recognized by the higher-ups at the Ministry, someone who was HIGHLY regarded by Dumbledore, and someone who had an undying passion for fantastic beasts. Who else does that describe? In 1943, Hagrid, an outcast at Hogwarts, was expelled from the school. Nonetheless, Dumbledore protected him, probably even more than he had protected Newt. Hagrid no longer had his wand, which was destroyed when he was expelled. There is only one way to repair a broken wand: The Elder Wand, which Dumbledore won two years later. After 1945, Hagrid didn't have a wand in the books, but he had...his umbrella. What is therefore encased in his umbrella? I'll guess Hagrid's old wand, repaired but inside his umbrella. So why would Dumbledore regard an expelled student such as Hagrid so highly that he would repair his wand with the Elder Wand in or after 1945? Another question: Why would Dumbledore tell McGonagall, in the very first scene of the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, that he would trust a ne'er-do-well such as Hagrid with his life? The answer to both: Hagrid MUST have saved Dumbledore's life. My theory: When Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald in 1945, he did so with both Newt and Hagrid, along with their command of fantastic beasts who helped defeat Grindelwald. When Hagrid was helpless two years after his expulsion from Hogwarts and had nothing more to do than be a helper for the man (Dumbledore) who supported him when Hagrid was left desolate and expelled. And that's what I think the climax of the Fantastic Beasts series will be. Newt and Hagrid fighting for Dumbledore together. And, with Newt and Hagrid together, that will be one hell of a story to tell.

Oh cool. Yeah I think I was confused cause they showed more as a spell with Snape and a power in this movie

Yay! I've never seen these either, though I'm a huge HP fan, so this will be fun! :) About legilimency, i think a couple of legilimens are introduced in the HP movie series: Snape & Voldemort. Snape does it when he teaches Harry Occlumency (blocking your mind to legilimency) in the 5th movie. From the books, we also know Dumbledore was a skilled legilimens, and Bellatrix was at least good enough to teach Draco Occlumency (like Snape was doing for Harry). In the scene where Snape teaches Harry Occlumency in the movies, he is shown using a wand and saying "legilimens" out loud, but in the book he often does it without a wand and without uttering the incantation out loud, more like they portray it in this movie. So yeah, random facts for ya. Anyway, excited for the journey!

Also Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them is a book that they use in Hogwarts for Care of Magical Creatures class

Now that you have seen this movie I can tell you that Arianna Dumbledore was an obscurus because of the incident with those muggle boys and during one of her magical outbursts, she accidently killed her mother. This could also be a contributing factor as to how she died in the 3 way crossfire

I’m excited! I love the two fantastic beast movies made so far! Can’t wait for the next
