The ending is also such a good scene as well. I honestly wanted to cry. It's so sad. The more a reevaluate this movie I actually realize it does have a lot of good parts to it compared to the first. The 3rd movie is another favorite of mine where a lot don't really like it as much but I think it's interesting. Plays more of a political role but there's still plenty of action. All 4 movies have their different aspects.

My favorite part of that movie was that lightening arrow hitting the forcefield. Such a cool scene.

thanks so much for this, i loved your reaction! ninetailedbrush had such interesting insights and it's crazy to see how many things he caught on to so quickly – them being chosen for the games again, plutarch being on the side of the revolution, the other tributes seeming to be more connected/caring for each other/trying to keep each other alive (for the most part). this book/movie is my favorite but i think the next two movies (the last book) do a really incredible job in showing the realities of revolutions + media + propaganda so i'm really excited to see your reactions to them! also i meant to ask if you guys had ever seen the amazon original series "the boys" because if not i think you should definitely do a reaction for those, i think you'd love it. it's fucking wild lmao!

That jabberjay seen was so much more intense in the book. They had to sit there and wait for it to finish I believe. An entire hour. Though the movie pictured it pretty well.

Yay!!! A perfect end to my night to watch this with hubby. I feel like Peeta really grows into his own in this one. In the first he was in a constant state of victim hood but here he begins to embrace his power starting when he volunteers. And the fact that he had Effie give him the medallion knowing Katniss would need to see pics of her loved ones to remember what she is fighting for. He knows her so well. Granted I am not a Gale fan at all but I feel like Peeta understands her better anyway. They barely know each other but he always has her best interest at heart. Ceasar Flickerman, what a fabulous character. I imitate his laugh all the time. Stanley Tucci is brilliant in everything he is in, no doubt, but I feel like he went above and beyond on this one. I love watching Effie grow. She starts the first movie so silly and vapid but you can tell in this one she understands better what they are up against and she has gained empathy. Haymitch. How can you not love Woody Harrelson's portrayl of him? One of my favorite characters. Which brings me to Finnick. I LOVE Finnick. When he first shows up you think he is no brains all beauty and selfishness but he has so many layers. I'm so glad you guys are watching these!

I really love the costume designs in this movie as well. The people of the Capitol wear such wacky clothing.

I agree President Snow's performance in all the movies are well done. He really shows himself as an intelligent and strong or commanding leader not to be reckon with. But, also very a serious man.

I love when Katniss pours the alcohol all over Haymitch.

I think The Maze Runner would be an interesting series to react to as well if you haven't seen it. I read all the books and seen the movies. The movies are pretty good. I mean they don't go exactly as the books but the acting and portrayal I always thought was interesting.

I saw you post the first on your You tube Channel and I knew the second would be here. I'm super excited.

I don't like to write seperate comments, but I'm kind of a scatterbrain and would forget to think of your merch question after the movie... so here is my opinion. I would love it if you made different designs for the "bigger" series and films you are covering. Especially Demon Slayer would be awesome! It's my favorite anime and I would love to get a hoodie with a special design for the series. It's a great idea and I can't wait to see what you are coming up with! And now I'm going back to the movie ^-^
