Thank you so much!! It’s been a lot of fun reacting to them. I hope you stick around for more stuff! Fantastic Beats and LOTR and what not

Alright, well I’m curious to see what the resurrection stone is. I like that the Wands almost have a personality of their own. It’s pretty cool.

I just wanted to say I have watched MANY Harry Potter reaction videos and by far I have enjoyed yours the most! I love your chats throughout and I almost feel as if I am watching the films for the first time with you. Thank you for the great reaction videos!

So the wands definitely make a difference. You can use another's wand, however it's not as effective. Unless you win the wands allegiance. Harry and Voldemort's wands are twins and that's why their wands connected in goblet of fire. What the movies don't explain is that because of the wands connecting the way they did, Harry's wand learned all the magic Voldemort's wand had ever done and thus, recognised voldemort attacking at the beginning of this movie and was able to protect Harry. Olivander told voldemort about the elder wand under torture and that's why he went searching for it. Ron was slowly being corrupted by the horcrux because he was more vulnerable to its influence. Which makes his destruction of the horcrux more meaningful as he had to overcome all of his fears magnified. And to answer your question, yes, you have seen the resurrection stone before. But only fleetingly.

I always trust Dumbledore so I’m sure that pays off. I’m assuming the mirror thing was something just in the book? Cause I don’t THINK we’ve seen that before.

A couple things that the movies don't explain that will help - Sirius gave Harry a magic mirror that forms a connection with his own so they could communicate. The shard of mirror Harry has is from his own so he's seeing someone who has Sirius' mirror. Also, Voldy doesn't know about the Deathly Hallows - he just thinks it's a really powerful wand. Voldy thought that the connection between them was because their wands have twin cores (both wands have a tail feather from Dumbledore's phoenix Fawkes as their core) but when Lucius' wand broke he decided to find a more powerful wand. As for Nagini/Bathilda, Voldemort expected Harry to visit Godric's Hallow and killed Bathilda but left Nagini there in disguise as a trap. And lastly, I hope you noticed how this movie took great pains to make Harry start to distrust Dumbeldore. That will pay off, promise. <3

Yeah, I mean the movies are SUPER long and I can understand how it's really hard to fit everything in, but yes, I agree.

LMAO that's kinda what I was saying lol

So Nagini doesn't have any magical ability yeah? It was just some sort of spell Voldemort put over her as a disguise

Voldemort put Nagini in Godrics Hollow disguised as Bathilda Bagshot because he knew its a place Harry might visit. Its true that the characters feel much more vulnerable but in the books they are a lot more careful with what they do and where they go. they spent weeks devising a plan to get into the ministry to steal the locket. they didnt want to go to godrics hollow but after weeks of no new information they ended up going, and surely there was a trap waiting for them there. in the books Nagini actually calls Voldemort and he very nearly gets there and kills them but they disapparated just in time. also voldemort is after the wand because the elder wand is the most powerful wand in existence. it could surely kill harry and do literally anything. he didnt know who had it until Gellert Grindelwald, the guy we saw in the vision, told him.

The reason why Nagina was there was because it was a trap by Voldemort to kill Harry. We all know how obsessed Voldemort is about killing Harry 🙄 Voldemort killed Bathilda Bagshot and it was Voldemort who used her "skin" to disguise Nagina. What Hermione saw was Bathildas remains per se. Quite gruesome. Bathilda/Nagina lured Harry away upstairs and spoke parseltongue away from Hermione because when Harry speaks parseltongue he's not fully aware he's speaking another language (as seen in chamber of secrets when every was staring at Harry all weird during the duel with Draco) Hermione would've been like..she's speaking parseltongue...that's Sus. Lol

To answer your question about Harry and Ginny yes their relationship is more developed in the books same goes for Ron and Hermione. JKR doesn’t use romantic scenes you would find in most YA books though. She is extremely gifted with characterization and this is how she develops these relationships, using internal and external characterization to inform the reader of feelings that much like the series as a whole, grow appropriately with the ages of the characters. It’s, to me, the most underappreciated aspect of the books. To be honest, the movies are great action and spectacle but do a poor job with characterization and plot and that's why I always encourage people who start with the movies to read or listen to the books after.
