2021-02-19 03:21:06 +0000 UTCNeville's parents were tortured to insanity but are alive and live at St. Mungo's hospital. It's so sad because they don’t even recognize Neville. Another fun fact about Neville is that the prophecy is important because it says that the boy born in the end of July would kill Voldemort. The movie doesn't mention, but Harry and Neville were born in the end of July. Also both of their parents defied Voldemort on three occasions. Voldemort didn't know which one the prophecy was talking about but choose to go after the half-blood (like himself) instead of pure blood so it could have been either. Also, your right Malfoy dad dropping the prophecy is bad and Voldemort will be mad about not having it, he basically failed the dark lord. I think its year 6 that they start learning how to do nonverbal spells but its never shown in movies.
