Today I woke up grateful for the gift of movement. Don’t take it for granted. Go for a walk. Stretch. Run. Jump. Whatever the fuck. We got these vessels for a limited amount of time. Let’s utilize them how god intended. She ain’t give us this shit for nothing 🙄

I just finished a work out class and now I’m gonna go pick my mommy up and take her on a hike. Then it’s Jamilah’s housewarming party tonight 😍

I ran 6.5 miles today. Now time for a bath and then get the kiddos ready for their first day of school 🏫. My oldest daughter starts 8th grade and my youngest daughter starts 1st grade.

Maybe rethink what movement looks like and that it will remove some of that stress and edge. It doesn’t have to be super active and can be fun and a mood enhancer. Put your top 5 favorite songs in a queue and dance. Break a little sweat or don’t! Just connecting back to your body will begin to motivate you. And dancing and music always takes us somewhere else. Maybe I’ll make a lil playlist for movement and mirror work 🤔

Good Moms

I've been trying to implement that into my daily things and have not been successful! Work days are too stressful to add movement in and off days I want to relax 😩 but I know it will only take a half hr to really get some good blood flowing. I need to make time for it!
