The scripture says honor and respect your mother, not be pressured into doing things you don’t want too especially when it comes to going to a place under mass delusion and that worship idols Now if you are under her house and you are forced to go that’s different But you have to learn to be more assertive and let her know that’s not what you want to do nor should do according to the scriptures and live with the results. I am interested in you guys perspective on this. I really don't like going to church. When I visit my mother she always asks me to go, and because I am bad at saying no (a notable flaw of mine) I usually agree. And I am just not feeling it. The singing was good but did nothing for me. You had women praying and preaching and speaking in their babbling version of tongues. I am a quiet, reserved person, so I just feel no need to be overly demonstrative of my praise of the Most High. I realize King David was a musician and very outgoing in this praise and dancing, but that isn't me. I also don't like how pastors typically take one bible verse and make a whole sermon out of it. I am not learning anything. Some small part of me feels guilty for not being into church. Like if I really love the Most High, shouldn't I be more emotional? Nonetheless, I would much rather be in my room alone for hours praying, meditating and studying scripture than jumping up and down in a church. My mom wants me to join her church, and I hate to dissappoint her. But I have zero desire to join. Thoughts?

The soul belongs to the Most High even in death this scripture provides that proof Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Some people come in to agreement with these left hand side spirits to gain power or fame etc as you have it and drink from the cup of the devil becoming a servant of the serpent and are granted a dispensation of time until that sprit comes to collect on the agreement which the Most High also governs and controls so they aren’t getting away in the end they will stand before judgment as well.
