If I were going to recommend 3 Hitchcock movies to watch before High Anxiety they would be the ones you picked. The movie does not just parody specific scenes from those movies but also parodies Hitchcock's style. The panning into shots, the unusual camera angles such as tilted or from below, and his use of light and shadows. I don't think it is widely considered one of Brook's better films but I've always had a soft spot for it because I am a big fan of Hitchcock and have seem many, many of his films. Looking forward to your reaction.
