American Hustle Life Episode 8 Reaction

I have watched this 5 times and glean something every time. Did you notice they started with 3 tutors and ended with 2? Since the one that left was mean. I believe the guys had some input how they wanted to be treated. I 'm betting that RM and Jin probably had some words and that is why the show got better. MNET did this also in Rookie Kings where I feel what the network considered entrainment was out and out abuse.

Just a quick side note on Bon Voyage - just wanted to let you know about the existence of episode 00. The official start to the series is episode 1, but episode 00 is a 10 minute video that sets up the concept/premise of the show, including interviews with the guys - it’s really fun to watch before getting into the series. You can find it with English subs on Vlive (search for Bon Voyage Epi 00).

After watching this, their first or second (I think) show. I can see they were very talented guys that really loved performing. They look so naive and joyful all the time, I'm not sure if I was like them at their age. lol I truly enjoy seeing their evolution in the shows they have done so far, the essence is the same but they definitely grew. :D

When I first watched this on my own, it took me a couple of months to get through it as I really didn't like the start of it but Its been interesting to watch it back with you and hear your thoughts on it! Although there were a few moments that could've taught them some valuable things and there were some parts they seemed to genuinely enjoy, I would've preferred to watch 8 episodes of them just with Iris and maybe a bit of the guy that did the beatboxing. Their series like Bon Voyage and In the Soop are much better as they are actually done by Big Hit so they have full control over everything and the boys actually had some input on what they did on those shows <3

Hi Jim! I just started watching your reaction to AHL and i can't find episode 2 part 1? It's missing. I'm one of the small minority of army who actually enjoyed the show and it's one of my favourites (asides from their docu series and BV.) I understand why a lot of army hate the series but i loved it.. they learned new musical abilities and tactics, grew as artists, and met amazing tutors. For this part i'd love to mention iris the most tho. She gave tae so much confidence to embrace his voice and i know at this point in their career, he probably didn't hear someone compliment his vocals the way she did. You can tell it touched his heart. Bon voyage will be a breath of fresh air for you after AHL. You'll love it.
