BTS WINGS ALBUM REACTION

Today I experienced Wings for the first time. So far this is my favorite from BTS. Special Thank you to Kvenus of the Dream Team for letting me interview her.

BTS WINGS ALBUM REACTION

Omg, I’m blind. Thank you! Time to continue binge watching your content because I’m enjoying it a lot! I’m so glad 😭✨

Shay

Are you talking about the short film teasers for the wings album? If so they are at the end of the Agust D + 7 WINGS short film teasers + Lives Stream. It's a few posts back.

I must be missing something because I can’t find them…? Did you specify that you watched the Wings short films in the caption? Do I need to be on a different tier?

Shay

Hey Shay! I have been uploading in order. So I believe you just need to scroll to the bottom. Most of my videos are long videos.

Where can I find your reaction to the short videos?! I can’t watch your reaction to the songs until I see that 😩 I have a weird need to watch things in order. πŸ₯²

Shay

? The reaction should be available.

It's not available πŸ₯²πŸ₯²πŸ₯²

There is so much I find interesting about Lie, musically. From the switch to major on the word lie (where the major key itself is a "lie"), to the 6|8 time signature (where the constantly looping triplets give the feeling of being "stuck" in a cycle you can't escape). It beautifully showcases how instrumentation can be used to enhance the message beyond just "sad song sounds sad".

Hana Park

Now I can't wait till you watch the Wings Tour. That has been my favorite concert that I've actually been to.

Tia Bee

Yay, I was waiting for you to drop this since I missed it!!!!πŸ’œ Thank you for this reaction! Wings is one of my absolute favorite albums, it's truly such an incredible artwork, it's right up there with Love Yourself: Tear and Map Of The Soul: 7 for me! Omg, what an incredible talk you and Kvenus had, I hope you get to speak with some of the other Dream Team members like this again. Also Jim, I love that you said "We" when you were talking about ARMY. So thankful to have an amazing person like you apart of this fandom!

DanielleM

The documentaries are called: Burn the stage, bring the soul, and break the silence. The movies are the same title. 😊

I was like so many other ignorant people and never wanted to like kpop or bts. I tried so hard not to like it. I looked down on it, thought the music was weird, the outfits were strange, the makeup, all of it was too much. At one point in 2012 i gave shinee a chance and their music was catchy, i couldn't help but dance and sing along to it. A few of those songs were lucifer, hello, and sherlock. I quickly grew out of it within a few months tho. Years later around 2015 i kept seeing people reacting to videos of bts. I seen them everywhere and it was hard to stay away from them. I couldn't understand why or how this group was so popular. It didn't make sense to me. The first song i heard from bts was dope and i actually really enjoyed the song. I didn't think much of the visuals, the choreo or the members themselves. Fast forward they blew up more and more and i just had to see what the fuss was about so i clicked on a video where it showed the members being very vulnerable with each other and their fans and immediately i was hooked. It wasn't their music or their looks that made me fall in love, it was their character, how dorky, funny, humble, grounded and amazing these boys are towards each other and their fans. Seeing them as genuine souls made me appreciate their music 1000x more and all of the hard work behind it. I finally became an army at the very beginning of 2018. So because of bts i have grown to be more open minded, much more in depth with my emotions (i like to blame them for making me into a crybaby LOL) and more appreciative of my friends and those around me. When i see those judgments of people not understanding it, i get it. I was also there. However you have to be open minded in order to fully enjoy bts and realize, they're so much more than just a "kpop group." πŸ’œ The more people break down those barriers and notice their golden hearts and passion, the more they'll understand it. I'm sure you already know this but bts have three documentary series. The first one is available on youtube red. Episode 1 is free and the rest you'll need to have a youtube red account in order to watch. The rest of the docus are available on weverse for purchase. There are other sources online as well and people can definitely link you to the episodes if you need it. The docu series is extremely well done and heavily focuses on what happens behind the scenes during their world tour concerts. It's intriguing and has a lot of emotional and interesting moments. Wings truly is a journey like you said, it's so memorable. Hopefully you'll be able to watch the final wings tour concert before you move on to the next album. You gotta see these songs performed live! it's insane! πŸ”₯❀️
