Foothills Make Good Waves!

So I've discovered that foothills also make great water texture and pretty cool looking waves. I mean I am making some coastline features (like these new cliffs here) which include waves, but it was a happy discovery. I can easily make my foothills a Photoshop Brush and paint it white and use them for waves!

PS: That picture consists of 3 new Cliff symbols.

I don't do the whole map. Just the "mountain range" or land features. Like a combo of the mountain assets making a larger mountain range. Just saves me from having to combo them in Wonderdraft.

Ah, good to know! I'll have to give that a shot, never crossed my mind to import a whole map as a png (duh, Cameron)...Thanks for the heads up :)

The smaller features I use Photoshop sometimes to test out how I want to paint a mountain range, then paint in Wonderdraft.

If you're talking as in when I make my maps...I tend to make brushes out of these assets and use them in Photoshop to make complete mountain ranges/cliffs (ya know, like more original land features), then save the entire thing as a PNG symbol for Wonderdraft. But that's after I have made my landmasses and know where everything is going.

What is your process between photoshop and wonderdraft? I have both as well, but I love the functionality of wonderdraft, yet they dont have good rotation for symbol assets (as of yet)... Just wondering what your work process is between the two programs, so you can still use wonderdraft, but get the right angles and look with photoshop. Hope this makes sense 😅
