Life Updates for March

Hello wonderful readers!

Hope everyone is doing well as we slowly get vaccinated and the weather heats up. Things have been changing a lot for me since the year started in a very rush and stop pattern. Like the way you punch a gas for ten seconds before slamming on the breaks.

In short order my roommate suddenly dropped a bomb in early February that he wants to move out. Not only is rent spiking a good $300-$600 and utilities would no longer be part of the lease, meaning we have to pay for those too. So at this point he'd rather invest in a condo or townhouse, and I'm inclined to agree.

How this impacts me is that since I'd like to keep living with him, being my best friend for nearly two decades, I've had to take up a part time job to help co-sign for a house loan. Sadly what I'm making on just writing commissions isn't enough for a substantial boost. Thankfully I did land a spot guaranteed part time so this shouldn't impact my productivity once I get settled into a routine.

Granted, March hit me with a big case of stress and writers block cause of all this. My plans for new stuff like YCH style coms and TWINE adventure tales feel better left on hold until after our move. For now I want to finish Queen of the Monsters part 3 ASAP, and then alternate between some new commissions and doing some of the amazing prompts my executives suggested. Get this damn block chipped away for good.
