Sorry for the silence lately.

I've always been in the habit that it might be repetitive to make reports when little progress has been made, but silence probably sends an even worse impression. >^.^;<

Going into Spring I thought things would settle down at the Deli job and I could get the Part-Time I've spent a year asking for. Finally make some big pushes to get owed stories done and try out some other ideas for new content. Boy was I wrong; the tourist season is hitting it's hardest in the Hagen chain's history. Record sales are breaking daily, including making DOUBLE projections on Memorial day. Add in two co-workers quitting, and another out since April from thyroid cancer and it's just been exhausting. Never smoke kids.

So yeah, just been keeping my head down working, resting, and writing when I can. The overtime has been great for clearing out debts with my bank too. For June I'm hoping to make a good grind to finish up a lot of commissions, and maybe find a new part-time job. When you can go to Taco Bell for higher starting pay, standing over a bubbling wok of oil for nine hours feels less rewarding. I'd much rather be spending that time making a career writing to entertain others.

On that note; On the Scene has been evolving rather amazingly into it's own little universe. The last three installments have been an experiment in trying to make them a continuous plot, where events from a previous episode spark events in the next, instead of just stand alone shorts. That's been really fun thinking of random ways Wendel's life can suddenly get crazy.

It got me wondering; would you guys be interested in specials to have your character cameo in the series for some fun time with Wendel? It'd be like a Your Character Here with the premise set, but you get some options to decide what happens with you and our favorite bunny. Although, with the rules on raffles I'd have to do something like hold a giveaway to all followers free, or charge a small purchase price. Five to ten bucks, maybe?
