Ill Doctrine Radio 1/29/22: Critical Bass Theory

This week we continue sprinkling history into the mix, through the voice of Angela Davis who marked her 78th birthday last week. This audio is from 1969, when Davis had just been suspended from teaching by the state of California, and brings a reminder of just how long they've been trying to keep truth and liberation out of the classroom.

And needless to say we've got our standard dosage of beats rhymes and soul, including new music from Lady Wray whose latest album is *highly* recommended, and some bonus birthday flowers for Rakim Allah who turned 54(!) this week. Hope y'all are maintaining! <3
