Long Beach Meetup Details & Sign-Up

Sign-ups will be closed 60 days before the event and we ask that you sign-up as soon as possible so we can finalize the numbers. Also don’t forget to join the #meetup-long-beach-december-6-8-2024 channel on Slack to keep up with the group before, during and after the meetup!
Friday December 6, 2024 - 7-10PM at Gladstone’s Long Beach
Join the group to enjoy some waterside fun at Gladstone’s Long Beach. Gladstone’s is located along the water and very close to both of the Hyatts. 2 drinks are included along with small bites plus the space for us to gather, chat and begin the weekend!
Saturday December 7, 2024 - 12pm Whale Watching Tour
We are going to be heading out on a whale watching adventure! This should be a fun way to get out on the water and the boat leaves directly across the street from the hotels. The tour lasts 2 1/2 hours. You will have time after the tour to explore Long Beach on your own or with other Diamond members. There is a lot to do including walking along the promenades, the Queen Mary, aquarium, etc.
Saturday December 7, 2024 - 6PM Carousel Takeover (Optional)
Long beach has a fun historic 1920 carousel and I want to ride it. Meet at 6pm if you’re interested at the carousel (located close to both hotels) for a group ride. Tickets are $4 and are not included in the event price. It should be a fun and goofy way to start the night!
Saturday December 7, 2024 - 6:30 - 9:30PM Shenanigans Long Beach
Nothing like an Irish Pub right by the water. 2 Drinks will be included along with some appetizers and a space for us to socialize and have fun. Later in the night the bar has live music for those who want to keep the party going even longer.We are very excited to be meeting all of you in Long Beach and I want to thank Jasmine for putting in the work to get this event done with our change of city. All of these events/tours are very close to the hotel so it should be a fun and relatively stress free time hanging out in the Long Beach area, taking in some of the water views and getting to know each other!
2025 Meetup Dates & Locations
To close, I am finalizing the dates and cities for next year’s meetups and should have that info to release soon. Benjy and I have narrowed it down to some exciting places and I can’t wait to share more! Hope to see you in Long Beach or at one of the meetups in 2025.
