November Godot Progress

Alright, so we are making steady progress. Here's where we are at with the remake.

What's in?

The most important parts of the Ui have been implemented. The basic functions of the game are also in: room logic, world movement logic, and event scenes logic.

What was done last month?

I mostly did the grueling, boring, and looong task of importing every single one of our seven menus into the new game. Meaning that configurations are working, so is saving and loading, and the inventory system; which are the more complicated menus.

What's coming up?

This month I want to import the combat system. Due to the way I made the system in the original game, I think this shouldn't actually be too hard. But you never fucking know with these things, so I'll keep my expectations in check.

What's left after that?

Importing every single event into the game. In case you haven't been keeping track, there are over a 100 events in the game already. 

This is going to be weird, since the new event scene framework works differently now than it did in the original game. The differences aren't massive, but it will be some copy and paste grunt work, unless I create an automatic tool for it, which will likely be the case.
