UI Overhaul

Since I will be absent tomorrow and the day next, and due to the fact I got an itch to create on the weekend, I worked double time today and yesterday. Time wise, that should compensate for my absence on the next couple of days. So, what have I been doing?

You've read the title, so you know. I have been hammering away at the font size inconsistencies, organizing everything with proper padding and stacking, creating more visual interest on the UI,  clearing it of useless portions and recovering wasted screen real state. A lot. I have been doing a lot, and I am not done. Here's a sneak peak at it:

There's plenty on that screenshot that I still have to change too, but it's a good sneak peak on the new toolbar. It's smaller and uses icons instead of the awkward text snippets. In case the icons are not clear, they have tooltips to help. The event choices panel is also much less bug prone, which is great.

I have a biiig task list with a buncha UI things to change still. They are things like: small overhauls on the inventory and class & skills menus. I have to go through the left panel with the status to apply the changes I did everywhere else. Fix bugs created by changes. Do small UI QOL changes.

My goal is to get this all done by the weekend, bu there might be some leftover due to the overhauls (they will put in UI for the inventory and class skills of companions). It is a lot, but it was a long time coming. After that, we should be getting back into content. Will do the polls then.

Long post, but I am done now. I have been working since early morning, and I am fucking tired. I also gotta get ready for tomorrow. Hope y'all are staying safe out there. Have a good couple of days! I will see you later!
