この間ご紹介しました、タマトイズさんの「3方向鼻フック」のお仕事の色々です。

↓パッケージイラストのラフ。

「鼻フック」のパッケージイラストという事で、タマトイズさんからは「顔のドアップでお願いします。」という発注でした。

またA3ポスターなどにするかもしれない、などのお話も有り、なかなか緊張するお仕事でした。

顔を描くのは好きなのですが、そこまで得意ではないのでｗ

もちろんオリジナルのキャラで描くことになるのですが、新規にキャラクターを造るのも大変なので、手持ちのキャラ「結鬼詩綱」をセレクトしました。

彼女はフタナリさんなのですがｗ、ポップな髪の色を持つキャラなので、顔のドアップの発注なら画面に映えるかなと思いセレクトしました。

ま、良いチョイスかなと思います。

このラフ絵では、紐の部分がチェーンになっていますね。

実は試作の段階では、紐部分は金属製のチェーンで検討されていましたが、最終的に商品では黒紐となるのです。

興味深いでしょw

また、このラフの段階では、限定版の特典の「全頭マスク」が企画されていなかったので、頭部が全部入る構図では無く鼻を中心としたトリミングにしました。

そして以下の絵は、タマトイズさんに送った私の商品の要望的なモノです。

考える事が無駄に好きなので、色々と考えて先方を困らせたりしますｗ

やはり、アタッチメントを換装出来る「鼻フック」って良いよね。って感じで描いたものです。

思いだけが先行してしまい、ジョークグッズとしての商品の安全性・耐久性・安定した生産性が考慮されていませんねｗ

コチラは、鼻フックの紐を固定する為の道具をイメージしたモノです。

想像だけで再現性が無さそうなのが、なんともオタクっぽくて好きですｗ

イラスト以外にも、この様な無駄なアイデアを黙々とタマトイズさんに提出していた事実を、皆様に知って頂ければ嬉しいです。

■ Rough sketches for Tama Toys' work.

Here are some of the work done on Tama Toys' "3-way nose hook" that we introduced the other day.

↓A rough sketch of the packaging illustration.

As it was a package illustration for "Nose Hook", Tama Toys asked me to draw a close-up of the face.

They also mentioned that it might be made into an A3 poster, so it was a job that made me quite nervous.

That's because, although I like drawing faces, I'm not that good at it lol

Of course, this order calls for me to draw an original character, but creating a new character is a lot of work, so I selected a character I have on hand, "Yuki Shizuna."

She's a futanari lol, but she's a character with a pop hair color, so I selected her because I thought she'd stand out on screen if the order was for a close-up of her face.

Well, I think it was a good choice.

In this rough sketch, the string is a chain.

In fact, during the prototype stage, they considered using a metal chain for the string, but the final product was made with a black string.

Isn't that interesting? lol

Also, at this rough draft stage, the "full head mask" that is a special bonus for the limited edition had not been planned, so instead of a composition that would include the entire head, I trimmed it down to focus on the nose.

The picture below is a product request that I sent to Tama Toys.

I love thinking, so I come up with all sorts of ideas and make the other party confused lol

After all, a "nose hook" with interchangeable attachments would be nice. That's what I drew with that feeling in mind.

I was so carried away by my feelings that I didn't take into consideration the safety, durability, and stable production of the product as a joke item lol

This is a drawing I made based on a tool used to fasten the string on a nose hook.

Since it's just my imagination, it's unlikely to be reproducible, but I like how it's so nerdy lol

I'd be happy if everyone knew that, in addition to the illustrations, I'd been quietly submitting useless ideas like this to Tama Toys.
