16 Design - Productshot

This is the second part of the tutorial.
Here is the link to Dimensiva: https://dimensiva.com/

And here is the link to my files. (this month I can't give you the whole scene because of licensing, you need to download the woods from megascan, but I placed cubes for reference)

Hi Vincent, glad to join your patreon :D did you also created how to learn your light, camera, and renders set up like yours? I'm planning to upgrade my membership

Hey Vincent love this one, but Ive never been able to open your file and start redshift, it crashes every single time. I think you mention this in the tutorial somewhere, is there a solution to fixing that?

Marcin Sulewski

Thanks 👍✌️

Here's a nice workaround for anybody with the same problem: for Firefox there's an add-on called Absolute Enable Right Click & Copy. With that enabled, you'll get an option in your normal right-click menu: This Frame > Show only this frame / or / Open frame in new tab. It doesn't disable protections on the video or anything, will just allow people to view it full-width in their browser & scale as needed.

Olena

Ok thanks--I'll try setting it up this week.

Cool, thank you. Didn't know about this, just tried enabling it. It's nice that it can resize the window, but for now it's not a good replacement for streaming or YouTube because it's always on top with no way to disable plus other problems that make it inconvenient to use.

Olena

Did you try firefox, they have this nice feature: Available in Firefox version 71 for Windows and 72 for MacOS and Linux, the Picture-in-Picture feature allows you to pop videos out of their webpage into a floating, always on top, window so you can watch while continuing to work in other tabs.

Hi, thank you for the tutorial. I'd like to suggest using YouTube for tutorials because Vimeo only has two size options: 1. tiny, can't see your UI at all or 2. full-screen and can't see my own UI at all. This is made worse when the video is private or locked to because I can't grab the URL to play in VLC (to make it resizable). So, if there's some way to use YouTube, that would be really helpful. Thanks for considering.

I always and everywhere use a Wacom. So much better. More precise and way better for your wrist.

Vincent Schwenk

Hi Vincent, I was just given a Wacom tablet as a gift. do you ever use one for C4D? i wasnt sure if it's easier to model. I saw you had one but maybe just for Premier? cheers

Perhaps copy everything in a new scene.

When an object in my scene moves into the your scene, it moves to a very large size. Problems arise when objects in scenes to which corner rounds are applied move to the your scene. If I create a basic shape for your scene, it will look much larger than the scene's stage. Is there any reason to use an object smaller than the default shape? How can I adjust the object to fit the scene environment? sorry for my english.

firefox too

Erik Gottschall

fyi: here it works (chrome)

Martin Köhler

Sorry for that, I guess it should work now.

Vincent Schwenk

Same! Probably something to do with Patreon.

Tiago Andrade

Same problem here!

Dylan Da Silva
