Somehow my cursor is gone, sorry for that.

This is the first tutorial covering the design topic. Please let me know what you think about it and also if you have any ideas how to shorten it. Also is the resolution fine now?

I would render an animation as a png sequence and save it somewhere on your hard drive.

Perhaps it's because I'm new to Redshift... but I cannot figure out how to export the animation once im happy with it... any help??

I forgot to make my ribbon editable before baking, that seems to have helped. Cheers!

Hey Vincent! I'm new here and catching up on old videos. When I bake as alembic, the ribbons intersect the geometry of the objects in the cloner. Is there a way to avoid this, to make cleaner animations?

I see, thank you both. I'll look into UV unwrapping. I'm only on R21 so unfortunately, I don't have the automatic tool.

Andrew, I thought the UVW tag automatically generated when i made my objects editable would suffice, but you need to create new UVs based off the object you are deforming. I used the automatic UV unwrapping in S22, which seem to work fine for my purposes. In my instance, I was using the Maxon Noise Shader node, and in the Shader options, go to input, change the source to "UV/Vertex Attribute" and drag your new UVW tag into the vertex attribute name. This stopped the swimming for me.

If you are having deforming softbodys, you need to have UVs, triplanar doesn't work there.

Hey Ben, did you ever figure out a solution to this? I'm experiencing the same problem—I'm using a triplanar node set to reference and my textures and noise are swimming when the softbody deforms.

Hey Vincent, when using RS Noise it seems like the Noise is constantly moving when using on softbodies. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi! Does anyone know why: My SSS Material has chunks of crazy holes in it when rending with alpha in the render-save settings. It looks good in my IPR and also in the picture viewer … but in the file itself my object with the subsurface has those holes (in uncomprehensible places) Not the first time i have this issue …

Hi, Just a quick question. In your viewport how come your objects are displayed in colours like blue orange. I can only see my objects in standard grey colour.

I actually I enjoyed the length, as you show a bit of trial and error, which goes along with lighting and creating materials. Some great tips in there about RS hotkeys and your use of bumps :)

Man sieht leider deinen Mauszeiger im Recording nicht. Ist jetzt nicht krass schlimm aber irritiert manchmal ein bisschen, ist das einfach zu fixen für die nächste Aufnahme?
