First of all thank you very much for joining my channel. I've been teaching in university, so I am not totally new, but this is the first time I record a tutorial.
So please help me to improve in the upcoming ones.
Is it fast enough? Or too fast? Any other recommendations?
In this one, the sides are a bit cropped, I will change that in the next one and I will get a better camera for the intro :-)
Thanks Vincent
We will start from now I read video 01 of 325 🤯

Hey, when I turn the cloner tag from "rigid body" to "soft body", objects crash. Anything I can do to avoid it?

Probably you are having another scene scale or some other values. Increase the stiffness a bit, that might help

Hey Vincent, my objects seems to get stretched way too much by the ribbon but I think all the values and scale are the same as yours - what could be the problem here?

one question: bake alembic is only baking one object even if I have multiple objects selected but exporting as alembic is working just right. Any idea why?

After I prefer Redshift way more, I will start with that. But if there are enough people asking for Octane I might do that as well.

2019-10-01 21:38:10 +0000 UTC
Hey Vincent, can we expect any materials that are based in Octane?

Yep, the UI looks really small on my screen. But the tuts is great ✨

Yes. 4k resolution even if higher res in vimeo, is not ideal in most cases. The majority of people watch from any device so 1080p makes it a lot easier. I know its harder for u -less workspace- but viewers will be happy :)

you mean the resolution of my screen, so everything is bigger for you? I did indeed record at a 4K screen. But I could also upload a higher resolution to Vimeo.

Great mate! one comment is to lower your resolution to 1080p :) thankss
