Sorry, still trying to catch up on my comments. 3 things of note: -1) 38:30-39:00: I'm glad you guys said that. I feel the same about most CG animals & how they move ( www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/cluj27/seems_like_cgi_is_really_struggling_to_make/ ). In this analogy, the "Birds Of Prey" hyena is a good example of "Uncanny Valley" (i.e. he looked so real just sitting there at 2:12, but then moved more & ruined my immersion: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3HbbzHK5Mc ) & AppleTV+'s "Prehistoric Planet" series is my Arcane equivalent (all the more reason to react to itπ: www.patreon.com/posts/real-quick-116793006 ). -2) 42:10: In reference to "what effect", I'm surprised you didn't notice how red her eyes got (same w/Smeech's accountant at ~8:30). Also, she's shimmer powered (hence why she was able to resist getting knocked out), remember? -3) Sevika vs. Smeech is my favorite s2 fight for how uniquely fun it is. I especially like how Sevika adapted her style to fit Jinx's. My 2nd favorite is Jinx vs. Vi in ep3 (which is more epic, but makes me sad b/c of how it ends).
