Hope you guys re-watched this ep, given how much you missed from laughing so much ;) 3 more things of note: -1) While HQ has always been good at representation, ep5 introducing both Alysia & Tefe was an especially pleasant surprise. -2) Love that Bud & Lou (i.e. DC's goodest good boys) not only returned, but got to help in a fight. AFAIK, they barely ever get to do any fighting (& are often 1-shotted when they do) in other DC media. On a related note, said fight has my favorite ep5 line ("Being cold is not a personality"). -3) In ref to 22:04, you were probably thrown off by the horizontal pupils, which real deer have (see "Depth-of-field": www.azandisresearch.com/animal-vision/deer/ ). Cartoon deer usually have human-like eyes.
