Lots of thoughts about my favorite ep: -In reference to 2:50 & 3:00, the "earthquakey steps" ARE from Lulu running. Remember, Carl told her to stay WAY back in the forest, so she had to run (& thus, hit the ground w/more force than when walking) to get by his side before the slavers surrounded him. -I think 3:20-30 is an especially good example of what Fatman said about ep3 ("I love how they can make something so[...]deeply emotional, but[...]at the same time so funny"). -In reference to ~8:20, IDK for sure, but I can't help thinking that Carl's thinking, "WTF is wrong w/these ppl bringing their kids here?" That + stopping Carl & Lulu from leaving makes me think that, slavers or not, they had it coming based on their lack of self-preservation :P -Can't help but always laugh at ~11:00 :D It reminds me of Dolph Ziggler's selling: www.youtube.com/shorts/Zu6jBW-RXpc -IDK if it was on purpose, but the way Fatman says "too many arrows" reminds me of "Too Many Ostriches": www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr8r09c8ogg -To answer your question at 18:50-19:00, theropods like Lulu (i.e. the 2-legged, mostly meat-eating dinos, including birds) left very distinctive 3-toed footprints w/sharp claws, 1 of which you can see at 16:46. -In reference to 23:53, I'm not sure it counts as a villain origin story if they're already villains ;) On a related note, this ep as a whole reminds me of when Rick & Morty say, "Damn, feels kinda good when there's no guilt, huh?[...]Yeah, it's... It's like in "star wars."[...]Yeah, just like in "star wars." Go nuts!" In this case, it's not just kinda good, but really good: For 1, those being killed are slavers (& thus, as irredeemably monstrous as it gets, right up there w/nazis); For another, to quote Peacemaker, Carl & Lulu look "dope as f***" while killing them ;) That's why it's my favorite. -Just in case you haven't seen ep5, it's less plot relevant, but no worries, ep6 continues where ep4 leaves off.
