I think it was pretty cool to get an episode that completely focuses on the supporting cast. At this point, this is the only one in the entire series where Luz, Eda and King have all been completely absent. It looks like the crew deliberately dedicated at least one episode to having Hunter extensively interact with all four of the Hexside kids; when Gus first found him, it looks like he had several Grimwalker books in the trash pile behind him. I’m glad that there was some follow-up with Willow and Amity, but I do wish that they could have dedicated a little more time to them. With how short their subplot was, I have to wonder if the crew added it in when they found out about season 3. On a somewhat related note Severine was voiced by Dana Terrace, so I think she might have been voicing some of her real life frustrations through that character.
