SPIDER-MAN 2 2004 REACTION & DISCUSSION

This is easily my favorite live action Spider-Man film, but I don’t like comparing it to Spider-Verse; they both have such a different feel. The fight on the train has to be one of the most iconic superhero action scenes, and it was indeed great to see in theaters. The tiresome will-they-won’t-they storyline between Peter and Mary Jane is probably my only big complaint, and the scene where she leaves her fiancé at the altar never felt right to me either. The theater usher was played by Bruce Campbell, who starred in Raimi’s Evil Dead films. He was also the wrestling announcer who came up with Spider-Man’s name in the first film, and he had a cameo in Spider-Man 3 as well.
