2020-12-29 11:04:15 +0000 UTCGreat episode, but the anime did cut a certain detail out for time: Annie actually carried both Reiner and Bertholdt to the Walls in her Titan form while calling Pure Titans to follow her. That’s why so many showed up immediately after Reiner broke the gate. Originally both she and Marcel were supposed to take turns calling Pure Titans, but since only Annie was there she had to do the whole thing herself so she was exhausted and ended up passing out after reaching the Walls, which is why we saw her wake up again inside Wall Rose.
