LOL at "I can't remember if it's 'M' or 'N'." That's one of many strange-to-us rules of Japanese words: it's 'N' but if it occurs before certain syllables, it's pronounced 'M'. So when written in English, it's "senpai," but when spoken it's "sempai." (Also: 'N' is the only consonant that occurs by itself; all others must be paired up with a vowel. This is why "Batman and Robin" in Japanese sounds out as "Ba-tto-ma-n a-n-do Ro-bi-n.")

2020-09-10 05:58:19 +0000 UTCI love this version of Mr Freeze. They added the dying wife motivation in the Batman TAS series. Before that, he was just another ice themed villain (seriously, there’s like 5 of them in DC). Since then, they’ve occasionally tried to remove the wife motivation, but fans always prefer him as more sympathetic and driven by love.
