So much happened for the guys between the filming of Season 1 and this season as they filmed season 1 right before the release of Dynamite. So before season 1 they had released ON getting a number 4 on Billboard Hot 100 along with Map of the Soul:7. And after Season 1 they had 4 songs debut at number 1 on Billboard Hot 100 before they filmed Season 2: Dynamite, Savage Love (Laxed- Siren Beat) BTS Remix, Life Goes On, and Butter (I'm not even counting Permission To Dance yet because I believe they had just filmed the MV before this season 2 was filmed this in June 2021 but the MV was released in July 2021. They would have 2 more songs debut at number 1 on HOT 100 with Permission to Dance and My Universe Coldplay x BTS for a total of 6 number 1 songs). They also filmed a mind-blowing amount of content during the pandemic and yes Season 2 was filmed in this midst of the pandemic, things were still very buttoned down in South Korea at the time and they couldn't travel outside the country yet that wouldn't happen until November for BTS. Oct 2021 they had their Seoul concert but the audience wasn't allowed to cheer or yell because of restrictions due to the pandemic and were given paper noise makers to clap with instead (there was some controversy with that at the time because concerts had these restrictions but not sports events at the time for the same venue, they were allowed to yell & cheer all they wanted lol). So yeah you could say things really went to the next level during that time and Dynamite alone was estimated to have created jobs for 7,928 people and contributed 1.43 Billion to the S. And like you mentioned about having to worry with stalkers or paparazzi they really couldn't go anywhere in Korea during this time without being recognized by someone so it makes a lot of sense that Big Hit bought that property and renovated it for the show, it probably made it a lot easier to deal with security or trespassers during the filming. I believe they do tours & they did Airbnb bookings (tho it seems I can't find a working link for this now, I found a past page when you could stay there but every time I click the link to book it's blank so it may not be directly available to book thru Airbnb to stay there anymore https://news.airbnb.com/en-uk/relax-like-bts-in-the-soop-estate-now-on-airbnb/ ) but I highly advise talking with someone who actually did one of these legit tours as unfortunately there is a lot of these that are just people trying to cash in on this even the local government unfortunately, some not having direct permission to be on the property. Yes Bam is pad trained it didn't really cross my mind that living in a big city like Seoul in apartment buildings it may be hard to train a puppy to go on grass only since I live in the suburbs, also I didn't really think about the security issues the guys face with stalkers etc. It's better to have a safe place they can do their business if they get the sudden urge rather then an accident literally anywhere. When I first adopted my dog it took him a few weeks to adjust even tho he was old enough to be potty trained already but he wasn't pad trained even though I put a pad down in a safe space for him he still had a few accidents on our thick carpet I guess cuz it was closer feeling to grass then a training pad but he soon got into a routine of going outside so as long as I wasn't caught in traffic or something and late home he was well trained. I miss my furbaby, he passed in 2021 and was the best dog I've ever had, I just haven't been able to get another dog since him but many factors for that like my own health problems etc. My dog Duke was a Shi Tzu like J-Hope's family dog Mickey so every time I see Mickey it makes me think of my dog tho Duke was light tan color and he came with his name, I didn't have the heart to change it because he knew it very well even tho it sounds like a big dog name it did suit he's personality cuz he acted very naturally regal and calm probably one of the quietest dogs I've ever had too. His previous owner was an elderly deaf man so I don't think he even learned what barking was until I adopted him and was trying to teach him to speak for a treat lol.
