I love that there is so much nuance built into all of the characters, especially the ones either being defended or on the prosecution side. There were characters where you're meant to dislike them at first, but as more is revealed about them in the episode you come to, at the very least, understand where that character was coming from if not outright agreeing with their actions to a degree. I think it's pretty applicable to real life. It's easy for people to jump on the first newsbite of whatever drama is going on and solidify an entire position or opinion on it. Hell, plenty of people won't even read a paragraph and base their opinion's on just the title of a news article alone, but there is always so much nuance to situations and people's lives it is simply ridiculous to jump to assumptions and get caught up in gossip. Social media has ruined everyone's perception of how nuanced real life is, and their ability to think critically anymore. Anyway, rant over lol. I'll be looking forward to whatever show we start next!
