K even mentions that much, something like obviously the voters see things differently than they (the contestants) do. K's facial expressions have honestly fueled some of the most hate-filled comments I've ever read in response to a show like this; it's actually kind of disturbing to read some of them. To be fair, Sunoo wasn't my favorite person after seeing how he behaved in this episode, despite already knowing him as a member of a group I like... but I also wasn't spewing hate for him online, just kind of being silently judgy about what Mnet chose to show us. All that said, it was probably a wise decision to start them ranked by global vote, since the first test is judged by the producers. How it ended up makes the upper ranks who weren't in I-Land fight that much harder to prove they deserve a high rank, and it makes the lower ranks fight that much harder to claw their way upward. ~~~~~~~~~~ I didn't plan to do a full run-down on where are they now for the eliminated contestants, but I at least wanted to let you know where Kyungmin is since you liked him so much here... then I wound up with stuff about ALL the eliminated contestants but that just seemed like overkill. So instead I decided to pare it down to just a few. I'm quite happy to touch on the others if you want, but figured this would be enough for the moment. Kyungmin ~ debuted Jan. 30, 2023, with 8TURN, pretty sure they're still currently on tour. 8TURN definitely has some good music, and they're fun to watch. I wouldn't know the best place to get started with them, but they were on 'Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace', which is a great show to add to your list to eventually watch. EJ & Nicholas ~ debuted Dec. 7, 2022, with &team (Japanese group, werewolves concept). Before diving in, I'd suggest watching the survival show &Audition (on YouTube, shorter than I-Land and a great way to get to know the guys in the group). A total of 4 from I-Land went on to debut in &team (the other 2 made it into Part 2). Jimin ~ debuted Jun. 30, 2021, with JUST B (along with one of the contestants who made it into Part 2). He participated in 'Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace' as part of The Crew One, a large team made by combining the groups JUST B and ATBO. Seon ~ works as part of a producing team using the names ON and SEON. Released his first SoundCloud exclusive on Mar. 14, 2022, and made his official solo debut Nov. 20, 2022.
