The problem with "Crush" if they choose it as their title track is that the market, at that time, was over saturated with girl crush and heavy concepts. It would also not help them to overlap their concept with then newly debuted Blackpink. 2015-2017 was a period wherein people are captivated by the whimsical, unique, quirky, and pure concept mainly because GFriend, Lovelyz, Red velvet and early TWICE were dominating the GG soundscape at that era.

Agreed that 'Crush' is the superior track, the only reason it's not the title I think is because it was actually released as a single a month prior to the 'Chrysalis' album dropping, so it was more like a pre-release track. And 'Dream Girls' is still considered their debut song since 'Crush' was technically like a pre-debut release. I recall in the PD101 reaction, you mentioned the weird instrumentation in 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fade' being sort of off putting, and I agree. It was definitely something weird with the mixing in the PD101 live stage where that whistle-like synth or whatever that was ended up way too pronounced. The final studio version still has it in the instrumentation but it's blended much better into the rest of the track. Even the live stage you checked afterward was better too.
Pinky's Chinese name Jieqiong is hard for me to pronounce as well, I usually go by her Korean name Kyulkyung which sounds how it's spelt except with the K's sort of sounding more like an aspirated soft G sound. I think she goes by that name more in Korea anyway, especially after she debuted in PRISTIN.
Also, I'm going to make an early prediction that 'Very Very Very' will probably be your favorite IOI song for specific reasons I won't spoil, looking forward to the rest of the IOI journey!
