Oh man I am beyond excited for this! This show aired the same exact time I had started to get into Kpop right in the beginning of 2016, but since I was such a baby Kpop fan I didn't know it existed until maybe a year or two later so I never got into it. It's perpetually been on my watchlist the past 8+ years! It's crazy because I now have this unique perspective of knowing like 90% of the trainees on this show, which ones made it to the final lineup, and who got to debut in other groups if they didn't make it to the final lineup. Which is, fortunately, the vast majority of the participants here, but unfortunately almost all of those groups are now inactive/disbanded (some of which only disbanded a few weeks ago), some of these participants are still very popular at least though. Also, it's been hard actually recognizing them myself since I know some of them more by their face and they all look like babies in this show. The romanization of their names differs slightly for some of their current stage names as well. I think the only other person you might know here other than Soyeon and Somi is one of the Starship trainees that performed first, which was Yeonjung one of the main vocalists of WJSN. She was part of the vocal unit along with WJSN's Soobin and VIVIZ's Eunha who sang a cover of IU's 'Holding My Hand' in Queendom (the song that got you all teared up in IU's Killing Verse lol). Also, Cheetah wasn't a part of 2NE1, you might be thinking of CL which is understandable since they have similar vibes. Cheetah was the winner of Unpretty Rapstar season 1. For context, season 2 had Hyolyn, Moon Sua, and Exy as participants, and season 3 had Soyeon as a participant.
