I'm gonna find it really hard to wait until the end of the week to watch it every week lol, but other than that yeah Kim Won-hae has really good range, he does a very good job of switching between funny and actually pretty menacing very well!

2024-07-21 20:33:03 +0000 UTCI really loved this show for its multi-faceted characters and storyline as well as the world-building (and IU's acting of course). Because of the hotel being on 2 different "worlds" and the fact that it has operated for centuries opens up the storyline to go in many different directions and cover lots of themes, so you get a little bit of everything in this show as you can already tell just from all the setup in this first episode. And yeah, every Kdrama I watch I do the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme when I inevitably recognize someone I've seen in a previously watched Kdrama, haha. I hadn't seen Strong Woman Do Bong Soon before watching it alongside you here so I also did a double take when you pointed out Gristle lol. Had to look up his wiki after this, his real name is Kim Won-hae and has done a lot of theatre and musical acting since the 90s. I noticed a few other famous Kdramas he's in that I've seen before, what a great actor!
