A lot of context was lost in the rap battle between Kool Kid and Soyeon!! the reason Soyeon was so intense was that Kool Kid entered the show halfway through due to her connections with a big company. From the start, she acted extremely arrogant, claiming she would destroy everyone because they weren’t on her level. She had two rap survival shows under her belt, and because of that she thought that it would be easy. Kool Kid’s confidence came across as pure arrogance that she couldn’t back up against Soyeon. To add, the translations for the battle were significantly softened😭😭the original ones are even harsher, if that’s possible.
